Indigenous Economics Ltd. (“Four Our Future”) is an Indigenous-owned corporation founded by Indigenous leaders in Canada. We specialize in developing and delivering sustainability-focused strategic plans, business plans, and economic development models to help develop and bolster communities during economic and environmental uncertainty.
Our team stands at the intersection of Western corporate frameworks and holistic Indigenous approaches to community well-being. Guided by a lived experience, we draw on insights gained from living, working, and learning alongside more than 300 of Canada’s 630+ Indigenous governments to support grounded, practical, and lasting outcomes.
Four Our Future Indigenous Economics Ltd.
Was founded by business leader & artist Tamara Goddard, of the Saulteau Nation, whose fundamental belief in access to clean water, housing, and power are fundamental human rights required to rebalance life and the resources our Earth provides. Having spent 25+ years studying social and economic systems, finding that many - by design - limit humanities ability to flourish. Her research and educational pursuits were fuelled by a dream of a new economic model grounded in natural law and the growth patterns of nature.
